3 arrested on warrants

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested David Louis Wangen, 52, on a Hennepin County warrant at 2:22 a.m. Tuesday at 24302 755th Ave.

Landon John Farr, 28, turned himself in on a local warrant at 8:33 a.m. Monday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

Travis James Hall, 28, turned himself in on a local warrant at 11:37 p.m. Monday at 411 S. Broadway.

Items stolen, damaged

A van was reported vandalized with racial slurs and threats at 10 a.m. Sunday at 2314 Doral Ave.

Approximately $1,200 in damage to property was reported at 11:07 p.m. Sunday on the 200 block of North Broadway.

A mailbox was allegedly smashed at 3:10 a.m. Saturday at 24906 725th Ave., outside Albert Lea.

A mailbox was damaged and a cupola missing at 5:43 p.m. Saturday at 28513 780th Ave., outside Clarks Grove.

A window was allegedly shot with a possible  BB or pellet gun at 12:02 p.m. Sunday at 62138 220th St., outside Alden.

A green boys’ mid-size bike was reported taken from a residence at 10:01 p.m. Saturday at 616 James Ave. The bike was valued at $50.

Someone allegedly wrote with black Sharpie on a hood of a car, and a motorcycle seat was sliced with a knife at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at 905 S. Third Ave. Damage was estimated at approximately $750.

Three sets of outside decorative lights were reportedly cut every 12 inches at 3:54 p.m. Sunday at 122 S. Third Ave.

A Paypal account was reported hacked for $369 at 9:49 a.m. Monday at 18779 860th Ave. outside Oakland.

A theft of a boat motor was reported at 9:55 a.m. Monday at 1406 S. Fourth Ave. The motor was valued at $4,500 to $5,000.

Someone attempted to take the motor off a bucket lift trailer at 10:10 a.m. Monday at 1410 Olsen Drive. Damage was sustained from the incident.

A theft of a lawn ornament with spinning balls was alleged at 1:43 p.m. Monday at 216 Fountain St.

A counterfeit $20 bill was reported at 11:32 a.m. Monday at Farmers State Bank, 1452 W. Main St.

A theft of tabs was alleged at 2:10 p.m. Monday at 220 S. Second Ave.

A criminal damage to property report was filed at 6:11 a.m. Tuesday at 811 Plaza St.

Crimes with child victims reported

A Department of Human Services report that a child was hit by a mother’s boyfriend was made at 8:56 a.m. Monday in Albert Lea.

A DHS report of a sex crime with a child victim was made at 1:04 p.m. Monday in Albert Lea.

Harassing and stalking, assault reported

A report of someone following another person and sending the person things was made at 9:55 p.m. Monday at 606 E. Fifth St.

A female reported just being assaulted/jumped at 3:01 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of East Fourth Street and Frank Avenue.
