An Albert Lea man was injured in a rollover crash Thursday in Watonwan County.

Richard David Scheib, 42, was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in St. James with an injury deemed not life-threatening.

Scheib was driving a 2003 Kenworth semi tractor east on Minnesota Highway 30 near Watonwan County Road 16 when Scheib lost control of the vehicle, causing the semi to go through the median, cross westbound lanes and roll into the north ditch at about 11:25 a.m., according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

According to the report, Scheib was wearing his seatbelt and alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

The Watonwan County Sheriff’s Office and St. James Fire Department assisted on scene.
