The 10th annual Bikes for Barker Scholarship Fundraiser will be on June 24.

The day will begin with a benefit breakfast from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the American Legion in Albert Lea. A silent auction will take place in conjunction with the breakfast and will end at 11 a.m.

There is a suggested donation of $5 for the meal.

For those who plan to ride a motorcycle for the event, registration will begin at 9 a.m. at the legion and will depart at noon. The cost is $20.

Bicyclists will register from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Root River Trail in Fountain. The 11-mile route of the ride is downhill and kid-friendly and will end at City Park in Lanesboro City. The cost is $10 per bicycling family.

A shuttle service will be available to take riders back to the trailhead to pick up their vehicles.

Lunch will be provided for both motorcyclists and bicyclists at City Park in Lanesboro City.
