The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office will host a Permit to Carry: Before, During and After a Critical Incident class from 5 to 9 p.m. July 23.

The class will cover a person’s responsibilities while carrying a firearm with a permit to carry. The class also covers topics including what to expect when law enforcement arrives on a critical incident scene. This class is not a Bureau Of Criminal Apprehension-approved firearms class for obtaining a permit to carry.
