2 arrested, cited for drug possession

Albert Lea police arrested Jerome Jesus Duenes for third-degree drug possession in a park area after a probation violation was reported at 8:49 p.m. Friday at 2233 Gene Ave. Duenes was held on an apprehension and detention order.

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Julia Kay Severson, 34, for fifth-degree drug possession during a traffic stop at 3:44 a.m. Tuesday on 790th Avenue, north of the Interstate 90 bridge. Severson was warned for possessing drug paraphernalia and driving conduct.

1 arrested for drunken driving

Police arrested Tosha Lynn Tauer for second-degree driving while intoxicated during a traffic stop at 9:07 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Bridge Avenue and Troy Road.

3 arrested on warrants

Police arrested Peter Alan Woollard on a warrant during a traffic stop at 6:48 p.m. Friday at the intersection of East Main Street and East William Street.

Police arrested Michael Ray Sanders on a local warrant at 8:12 p.m. Friday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

Police arrested Sean Donte Doss on a warrant during a traffic stop at 9:54 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of South Pearl Street and Wedgemore Drive. At the scene, police cited Austin Michael Navarro for having no Minnesota driver’s license.

Items stolen, damaged

Three guns were reported stolen at 5:55 p.m. Sunday at 73570 240th St., outside Albert Lea. A back door was reported broken into, and change was allegedly taken.

A shop was reported broken into with three riding lawn mowers and three aluminum boxes missing at 8:23 a.m. Monday at 28631 750th Ave., outside Clarks Grove. The items were allegedly later sold.

A light blue lily pad was reported missing at 10:30 a.m. Friday at 1 Fountain Lake.

A gas theft in the amount of $25.45 was reported at 3:24 p.m. Saturday at SuperAmerica, 23087 Minnesota Highway 13.

A black Nissan Titan was reported taken at 7:45 a.m. Sunday at 90315 290th St., in eastern Freeborn County. The vehicle was found later that day.
