Albert Lea police cited a female for theft at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hy-Vee, 2708 Bridge Ave. Her name was not listed on police records.

2 arrested on warrants

Police arrested Shwe Thuang, 22, on a local warrant at 8:04 p.m. Wednesday at 619 Minnesota Ave.

Police arrested Sabitas Calderon, 31, on a local warrant after a suspicious person or vehicle was reported at 4:10 a.m. Thursday at 2019 E. Main St.

Jessie Ray Lee, 24, turned himself in on two local warrants at 11:34 p.m. Wednesday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

Truck broken into, items stolen

A construction company’s truck was reported broken into and a grease gun with two batteries, along with 400 gallons of diesel fuel, were allegedly stolen at 7:44 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of 650th Avenue and 150th Street, outside Alden.

A car was reported stolen at 3:47 p.m. Wednesday at 1710 E. Hawthorne St.

A wallet and coin purse were reported stolen at 9:25 a.m. Wednesday at 519 Triangle Drive. Items missing included a Minnesota driver’s license, $50 in cash, credit cards and gift cards worth approximately $95.

A Schwinn bike and a black fishing pole were reported stolen at 6:49 p.m. Wednesday at 509 E. Fifth St.

A child abuse/neglect report was made at 9:42 a.m. Wednesday in Freeborn County.
