1 arrested for DWI

Albert Lea police arrested Katelynn Kay Wallin, 21, for third-degree driving while intoxicated during a traffic stop at 2:34 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Minnesota Avenue and Ramsey Street.

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies cited four people for underage drinking during a traffic stop at 1:05 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of 340th Street and 710th Avenue. One juvenile was reported transported by New Richland ambulance to Mayo Clinic Health System in Waseca.

Deputies cited Tyrone Anthony Kunkel, 20, and two juveniles for underage drinking during a traffic stop at 2:11 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of 730th Avenue and 325th Street, outside Hartland.

1 cited for violation

Police cited Arden Leroy Bergland, 81, for driving after revocation and on an open bottle violation after a report of a drunken driver was made at 3:20 p.m. Saturday at 621 Hope Lane.

Burglaries, thefts reported

A seedhouse was reported broken into at 7:49 a.m. Friday at Albert Lea Seed House, 1414 W. Main St.

Multiple items, including a vehicle, passport, television, multiple pairs of shoes and other items were reported taken at 11:58 a.m. Friday at 319 Adams Ave.

A burglary was reported at 10:15 p.m. Friday at 541 Green Ave. Several hundred dollars, jewelry and other items were reported missing. Missing items were reported at more than $1,000.

A burglary report was made at 11:54 a.m. Friday at 19475 660th Ave., outside Alden.

Tabs were reported stolen at 7:25 p.m. Friday at 704 Park St.

Items from a home were reported stolen at 6:55 p.m. Saturday at 214 Hillcrest Circle, Clarks Grove.

A bike lock was reported cut and a bike stolen at 9:31 a.m. Saturday at 308 E. William St. Estimated loss is $200.

A gate was reported open, a garage remote tampered with and storm doors and windows opened and removed at 6:52 p.m. Saturday at 1803 Knoll Drive.

A bike was reported stolen from a garage at 8:56 p.m. Sunday at 411 Commercial St.

Assault reported

An assault report was filed at 8:53 p.m. Friday at 404 Fountain St. The assault allegedly took place at another address.

A possible assault was reported at  9:30 a.m. Saturday at 906 W. Front St.
