The Freeborn County Democratic Farmer Labor Party (DFL) passed the following resolution at its most recent meeting:

We the Freeborn County DFL resolve to support efforts to keep the Albert Lea Hospital providing services as it does now, and reject the changes planned by the Mayo Clinic.

The Democratic Party has a long history of establishing and supporting good affordable health care, including Medicaid and Medicare.  We continue to support these programs and understand that good quality health clearly depends on a good local hospital.
