From my experience, the least distance you have to drive to OB care and delivery the better. I would have never made it 23-plus miles to the hospital. Figure, too, you may be outside of the Albert Lea starting point. I personally might have made it to Hayward. I had three children, and all came too fast to meet the estimated distance of 23 miles. Talk is good.
