LONG PRAIRIE — Police said they have a person in custody in connection with an apparent homicide in central Minnesota.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said Friday a 35-year-old man has been arrested in the woman’s death. Authorities have not identified the woman found dead in a home in the small Todd County community of Long Prairie Thursday night.

Police said the man and woman were last seen outside the residence and witnesses say they heard arguing.
