The Albert Lea Cantori will host an open audition for singers for its 2017-18 season. There are openings for all voices — soprano, alto, tenor and bass.

According to a press release, those interested in auditioning are invited to join the Cantori as they read through the music for the fall concert. The rehearsal begins at 7 p.m. Monday at United Methodist Church in Albert Lea.

A brief audition will follow the rehearsal. Those who wish to audition should be prepared to sing a short song or hymn.

Cantori is a vocal ensemble that began in in 1972. The ensemble sings two major concerts each season.  Anyone unable to come to the open audition may also call for a private audition.
