Recently, I had a very special new front step built on my home of 40 years.

The old one was in disrepair and in desperate need of replacing. I knew it, but kept putting it off, making excuses.

My new front step is special because it was built through the hard work and generosity of Glenville American Legion Post 264 volunteer veterans.

I am so grateful to the veterans who donated their skill, time and supplies to build me a new front step as one of their community projects.

Thank you so much, to each of you.

I truly appreciate it, more than you know.

And thank you, each and every one of you, for your service to our country.
