For people living with disabilities, the landscape for employment opportunities is changing. According to a press release, new federal and state policies are creating brighter futures for those who want to work in their communities.

The Work Is Possible! workshop gives future job seekers and their family supporters the opportunity to learn about key changes such as Minnesota’s Olmstead Plan, Employment First Policy and federal laws.

Minnesota self-advocates will share their stories about working. A regional panel will discuss resources available, such as the new Micro-Grant Partnership that supports integrated, competitive employment and answer questions.
