The South Central Score Chapter 710 will host its monthly meeting from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation office, 525 Florence Ave. in Owatonna. Special guest speaker will be Brad Meier, president/CEO of the Owatonna Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism.

All SCORE member volunteers are invited and encouraged to attend. Any individuals interested in SCORE are also welcome to attend. No reservations are necessary.

According to a press release, SCORE is dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of the nation’s small businesses. SCORE assists people in starting a new business, buying or selling a business, and providing mentoring to existing small business owners, confidentially and free of charge.

SCORE Chapter 710 covers the Minnesota counties of Steele, Rice, Freeborn, Waseca, Faribault, Blue Earth and Nicollet.
