Thefts reported

Four fraudulent transactions were reported at 11:36 a.m. Monday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave. The incidents allegedly occurred Saturday and involved suspects convincing a cashier to load $850 of each transaction onto a prepaid credit card. Loss from the incident is estimated at $3,400. The suspects, described as African-American females wearing blue shirts and khaki pants, were reportedly involved in a similar incident at a store in Austin the same day.

A wallet was reported stolen and bank cards used at 3:32 p.m. Monday at 706 Alcove St.

An Acer Chromebook laptop was reported stolen from inside an unlocked vehicle at 10:43 p.m. Monday at 148 S. Broadway Ave. The laptop is valued at approximately $400.

3 cited for violations

Albert Lea police cited two juvenile boys for possessing tobacco/e-cigarettes at 2:09 p.m. Monday at 2000 Tiger Lane.

Police cited Christopher Allen Lashbrook for having animals at large after seven chickens were reported running in yards at 3:20 p.m. Monday at 803 Bridge Ave.

Assault reported

An assault report was made at 2:44 p.m. Monday on the 200 block of S.E. Fifth St. in Glenville.
