Girl Scouts in Troop 420 and the Boathouse community education program will sponsor A Taste of Girl Scouts event from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Brookside Boathouse.

According to a press release, all girls are welcome to attend the free event.

Those who attend will have the opportunity to kayak, canoe, paddle board, ham board, bike and rock climb. Parents will be allowed to participate as well.

Waivers must be signed by a parent or guardian before the child participates in the activities.
