Thank you, Freeborn County Commissioners, for proclaiming Freeborn County a Purple Heart County — the first in Minnesota — and for your continued support for combat-wounded veterans in Freeborn County.

Thank you to Albert Lea American Legion Riders and the Rochester chapter of the military order of the Purple Heart for financial support, purchasing Purple Heart community road signs and a Purple Heart parking sign to be placed in front of the county veteran memorial.
