Pianist to kick off Civic Music series

- Known as “one of the finest pianists in the United States” by former President Jimmy Carter, pianist David Osborne will perform as part of the Albert Lea Civic Music series at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Albert Lea High School. Osborne’s list of White House performances includes presidents Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama administrations. After being a fixture at Caesars Palace for 12 years, Osborne is now featured at Petrossian Bar and Baccarat Bar at Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. His music, which encompasses 22 CDs and record sales near 5 million, includes romantic, classical, jazz, pop, inspirational, patriotic and Broadway show tunes. Tickets are available for $45 for adults, $15 for students or $95 for family. - Provided
