The Retired Educators of Albert Lea will meet at noon Thursday at the American Legion, according to a press release. 

The speaker, Shannon Thompson, will speak about options available locally for home health care. Those wishing  to attend should call Carol Fydenlund 507-377-2785. To cancel a reservation, call Fydenlund before 9 a.m. Thursday a.  She will call the Legion with the final count. The menu will be a chicken salad croissant, small salad and coffee or water for $10. A drawing for a free lunch will be held.

Much has been reported on the state of TRA and public pensions. The local legislative chair will report on the issue to all teachers.
