Hawthorne Elementary School fifth-graders work hard to keep students safe every day. These student leaders help students cross busy streets before and after school, and they need your help. Here are ways you can help keep Hawthorne students safe: park on the side streets or church parking lot, avoid parking near the parking lot entrances, use the crosswalks and walk your bikes and scooters, make eye contact with the patrollers and follow their lead, stay observant, when the flags are out traffic needs to stop on all sides, and smile and treat the students with kindness as they are learning. -
