Tigers shut out by the Bluejays

The Albert Lea high school football team dropped its fourth consecutive game of the season while on the road Friday night in Waseca. The high-powered offense of the Bluejays proved too much for the Tigers to handle, as they fell 57-0.

The Bluejays got started right away in this one, as they scored 21 points in the first quarter, which would be their highest-scoring quarter of the game. Offensively, the Tigers were just unable to get anything going throughout much of the first half. They would go into halftime trailing the Bluejays, 41-0.

The second half looked mostly the same for both teams, with the exception of Albert Lea defensively. Although the Tigers did give up 16 more points in the third quarter, they were able to hold the Bluejays scoreless in the fourth.
