Albert Lea Transfer Station and Demolition Landfill has announced its hours for the fall season, which runs from Sunday until Nov. 30.

The station will be open from noon to 6 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.

Services include disposal of household garbage, brush and demolition debris. The site also offers  recycling of electronics, used oil, appliances, scrap metal, cardboard/paper and glass/cans.

Yard waste composting requires a permit that  is available for purchase at the transfer station and City Hall.
