Workshop to feature public input session

The city of Albert Lea, in partnership with the Blue Zones Project, will conduct a built environment workshop on Tuesday.

The purpose of the workshop is to assess and provide input on upcoming projects in Albert Lea, including the resurfacing of East Main Street.

According to a press release, the day-long workshop will include a public input session from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall.

The workshop will be led by Dan Burden, an internationally recognized authority on livable and sustainable communities, healthy streets, traffic calming, and bicycle and pedestrian programs.
