The Albert Lea boys’ soccer team played nearly a perfect game on senior night against Mankato West Tuesday.

The Tigers didn’t allow any goals throughout their rout against the Scarlets, 6-0.

Senior Lennon Shimon scored four goals for the Tigers. Sophomore Cole Indrelie and freshman Dante Lopez also tacked on one goal apiece in the dominant Tiger victory.

Head coach Zach Luther talked about his team’s performance Tuesday night.

“I was happy that all seniors saw a good amount of minutes,” he said. “The team played well. We  moved the ball around a lot and worked hard to get into dangerous areas.”

Levi Kermes gets his seventh shutout of the year along with some nice saves at the goal.

The Tigers will be back in action Thursday when they take on Austin in the last game of the regular season.
