Albert Lea man injured in motorcycle crash

An Albert Lea man was injured on Thursday in a motorcycle crash in Fillmore County.

Troy Edward Steele, 47, was taken to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester with an injury deemed not life-threatening.

Steele was driving a 2005 Yamaha motorcycle east on Minnesota Highway 30 when it left the roadway on the right shoulder, entering the ditch before 10:30 a.m. Thursday, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Rushford fire and ambulance crews and Mayo One were outside agencies on scene.

Steele was wearing his helmet and alcohol was not a factor in the crash, the report states.
