Favorite teacher of all time and why: I honestly cannot pick a favorite teacher. I have had great teachers who cared about me and my education. I’ve had kind and helpful teachers who taught me lots!

Favorite book/author: “Out of my Mind” by Sharon M. Draper

Current/past activities, volunteer work and accomplishments:  During​ a weeklong mission trip with my church, we helped others during their rough times. I am a part of student council at Southwest Middle School. I play tennis and basketball. I also play violin.

What do you want to do after high school? I plan to go to college to study medicine or education. I’d like to either be a doctor or a teacher.

What advice would you give to younger students in Albert Lea? Keep trying and never give up!
