Assaults reported

An assault in the Freeborn County jail involving two males was reported at 10:27 a.m. Thursday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

A non-physical fight was reported at 3:11 p.m. Thursday on a bus at the intersection of Garfield Avenue and East Front Street. Three students were taken home by officers.

Items stolen, damaged

Mail theft was reported at 11:03 a.m. Thursday at 149 Main St., Emmons. A suspect was identified.

A large dent in a car caused by a kick was reported at 3:58 p.m. Thursday at 404 W. William St.

A hole from a BB gun was reported at 4:04 p.m. Thursday at 902 Abbott St.

Damage to a vehicle from at least one rock thrown was reported at 4:44 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Fountain Street and North Third Ave. 

1 arrested on warrant

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Eric Paul Mathison, 42, on a local warrant at 12:41 a.m. Friday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.
