Club collects for service project

- This week is national collection week for Operation Christmas Child. The Daybreakers Kiwanis Club of Albert Lea has packed 20 boxes and is providing shipping cost for a total donation of $520, provided by the club and individual members. The club has been involved in Operation Christmas Child for several years as one of its service projects, according to a press release. The boxes contain appropriate gifts and essentials and are delivered through Samaritan’s Purse to children in need around the world. - Provided
