The Albert Lea Salvation Army will continue its family approach to a Thanksgiving meal catered to the entire community.

“We invite the community to join together as a family and give thanks for all that has been given to us,” Maj. Sandy Hunt said.

According to a press release, turkey and all the fixings will be provided from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Fairlane Building at the Freeborn County Fairgrounds.

“Many financial contributors and volunteers have made this event for our community possible,” Hunt said. “We could not do this without the community’s support.”

Anyone interested in volunteering may contact the Salvation Army at 507-373-8776 for more details.

The mission statement of the Salvation Army is in part “to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and meet human needs without discrimination.”
