- Leonid Skorin Jr., Mayo Clinic Health System ophthalmologist, was awarded the Governors Achievement Certificate by The American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in Las Vegas. This award is given by the Board of Governors to members of the colleges who have demonstrated meritorious achievement and service. Skorin serves on the Education Committee and is scheduled to be the ophthalmology education program director for the organizations’ 2019 Annual Clinical Assembly in Orlando.
