Fraud reported

Albert Lea-Save Our Hospital Co-Chairwoman Mariah Lynne alerted organization members of a fraudulent request for Save Our Hospital donations Sunday night on a Facebook post. The fraudulent mailing address was reportedly P.O. Box 111. The incident was reported to authorities.

Albert Lea police arrested Kpaw Htoo, 26, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated, having at least a .08 blood-alcohol content within two hours, speeding and an instructional permit violation during a traffic stop at midnight Saturday at the intersection of East Main Street and St. Peter Avenue.

Police cited Qualita Gracie McClendon, 22, for disorderly conduct after a fight was reported at 1:09 a.m. Sunday at 134 W. William St.

Police cited Scott William Stahl, 56, for disorderly house after loud music was reported at 11:28 p.m. Saturday at 713 S. Fourth Ave.

Police cited Jorge Alexis Melero, 19, for possessing drug paraphernalia and having no Minnesota driver’s license during a traffic stop at 1:52 a.m. Sunday at 116 Bridge Ave. At the scene, police cited a juvenile for possessing a small amount of marijuana. The juvenile was released to a guardian on scene.

Police cited Carlos Antonio Chavez-Lopez for misdemeanor theft at 11:46 a.m. Sunday at 2708 Bridge Ave. At the scene, police arrested Chavez-Lopez on a Mower County warrant for shoplifting.

Police arrested John Anthony Garza on local warrants at 2:47 p.m. Sunday at 1550 Blake Ave.

Police arrested Imer Feliciano Torres-Manzano on local warrants at 9:54 p.m. Sunday at 1550 Blake Ave.

Thefts reported

A wallet was reported stolen out of a locked car at 2:34 p.m. Friday at 2308 Hendrickson Road.

Two teenage girls allegedly each stole one package of artificial nails at 3:56 p.m. Friday at 2610 Bridge Ave.

Sex crime  with a child victim reported

A sex crime with a child victim was reported at 1:18 p.m. Saturday in Albert Lea.
