Just a reminder that everyone needs to respect the American flag by replacing it when it is in disrepair and properly disposing of it, like taking it to the American Legion, and they will properly dispose of it.

I have noticed for several days at the Albert Lea post office the flag is torn and hanging by one lanyard. This should have been addressed sooner — at least taken down until a replacement was procured. Shame to see something like this, especially at a government office. They should be setting an example for others.
