Rolling for the win

Kylee Wassenberg — a United South Central student who attends LifeScape, a specialty school for special needs children in Sioux Falls, South Dakota — was awarded a gold medal during the state Special Olympics bowling competition Sunday at The Village Bowl in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Wassenberg qualified for the competition through her placement at the regional competition, but competed at the state level as a member of the Sioux Falls Bulldogs bowling team in the 16 and older division during her first place win. Her bowling teammates were Morgan Squashingroff, KrisLynn Zahn and Nicole Shanks. – Provided
