Lakeview Elementary.

Favorite teacher of all time and why?

My all time favorite teacher is Mrs. Wescott. She was always fun to be around and could always connect with students on a personal level. She was very encouraging, and wanted the best for us. She was supportive of all of us, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without her.

Favorite book/author:

“Wonder” by R.J. Palacio.

Current/past activities, volunteer work and accomplishments:

Softball, basketball, bowling, volunteering at Humane Society, Project E3.

What do you want to do after high school?

I would like to attend the University of Minnesota, then medical school to hopefully become a pediatrician at Rochester Medical Center.

What advice would you give to younger students in Albert Lea?

Always try to be your best self. I go by “work hard, play hard,” which means that if you work hard you will be rewarded. Always be kind to others, and be yourself. Don’t try to be someone you’re not.
