Albert Lea police cited a 17 year old for possessing drug paraphernalia, possessing marijuana in a motor vehicle and tobacco possession during a traffic stop at 11:22 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Bridge Avenue and Hammer Road.

A child abuse/neglect report was filed at 6:31 a.m. Friday in Freeborn County.

Burglaries, thefts reported

A residence was reported broken into and a Smith & Wesson firearm taken at 2:18 p.m. Friday at 29161 Freeborn County Road 45, outside Clarks Grove.

Items were reported missing at 11:10 a.m. Friday at 602 Cherry Ave. There was suspicious activity at the residence the previous night.

Tools and bike parts were reported stolen from a home at 11:49 a.m. Friday at 1015 Garfield Ave.

Items were reported missing from a duplex that was broken into at 2:15 p.m. Friday at 316 Winter Ave.

Prescription drugs were reported missing from a house at 2:36 p.m. Saturday at 209 Charlotte Ave.

Possible attempted entry to a house was reported at 4:15 p.m. Sunday at 312 E. Seventh St. A basement window was broken.

1 arrested on warrant

Police arrested Joseph Eugene Waltz, 22, on a local warrant at 7:53 p.m. Saturday at 800 S. Fourth Ave.
