1 arrested for domestic assault

Albert Lea police arrested Michael Donald Larsen, 21, for domestic assault and disorderly conduct after a domestic incident was reported at 2:09 p.m. Saturday at 1215 W. Clark St.

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Nathan Andrew Johnson, 21, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated, driving after suspension and speeding during a traffic stop at 12:52 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 13 and Interstate 90.

Police arrested Dylan James Bartel, 26, for fourth-degree DWI during a traffic stop at 2:17 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of East Main Street and Ulstad Avenue.

2 arrested on warrants

Police arrested Reyes Alberto Deluna, 30, on a local warrant at 7:39 a.m. Friday in Albert Lea.

Police arrested Isaiah Ray Baity, 34, on an Anoka County warrant and probation violation and having no proof of insurance during a traffic stop at 9:11 p.m. Saturday at 300 Johnson St.

3 arrested, cited for violation

Police arrested Robert Lee Suniga, 35, after a violation of an order for protection was reported at 6:55 p.m. Saturday at 616 James Ave. He was arrested at 321 Sibley Ave.

Deputies arrested Clayton Lewis Crawford, 52, for a misdemeanor order for protection violation during a traffic stop at 10:36 p.m. Friday on Interstate 35, six miles north of the Iowa border.

Police cited Hanna Berlynn Lea Hughes, 19, for misdemeanor theft/shoplifting after a theft in progress was reported at 1:34 p.m. Friday at 1550 Blake Ave.

Items stolen, damaged

A black single-axle flatbed trailer was reported stolen at 8:21 a.m. Friday at 208 W. Third St.

A windshield was reported cracked at 11 a.m. Friday at 2000 Tiger Lane.

Three basement storage units were reported broken into and tools taken at 5:18 p.m. Friday at 133 W. William St.

A boat was reported stolen at 2:28 p.m. Saturday at 1014 W. William St.

Theft by fraud in the amount of $3,700 was reported at 2:57 p.m. Saturday at 610 Johnson St. An elderly man reportedly sent the funds electronically after someone claimed to be a bail bondsman for the victim’s grandson.

A back door was reported damaged at 9:39 p.m. Friday at 920 St. Jacob Ave.

A spare van key in a vehicle was reported taken at 11:01 a.m. Saturday at 119 1/2 S. Broadway.

Theft by fraud regarding the attempted purchase of a teacup yorkie was reported at 1:02 p.m. Saturday in Albert Lea.

A wallet with $500 and other items was reported missing at 2:59 p.m. Sunday at 408 High St. A suspect was identified.

Sexual assault reported

A sexual assault report was filed at 8:49 a.m. Friday in Albert Lea.
