Delmar Marquadt died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at his home at Oak Terrace Assisted Living in North Mankato.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Athlynn; brother, Rolland; son, Paul; and daughter, Kay. He was preceded in death by daughter, Patricia, three grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Delmar played professional baseball out of high school and played for the Albert Lea Packers as a catcher for about 15 years. He drove truck for Wilson & Co. for 35 years and retired in Solon Springs, Wisconsin.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Messiah Lutheran Church at 1706 Lee Boulevard, North Mankato. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
