Don worked at Wilson & Co. packing plant for 42 years. He also worked 10 years for Sears as an installer. Aside from his other jobs, Don always stayed busy doing carpentry work. He was a member of Moose Lodge, and, prior to his death, he was the oldest living member in the local Eagles Club chapter. Donald loved to play the accordion, often entertaining the other residents at Good Samaritan.

He enjoyed dancing the polka and the waltz with his wife, Delores. Don spent most of his time working and enjoyed the work he did; carpentry being both a job and a hobby.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Delores; both parents; and siblings Dale, La Verne, Paul, Jack, Marjorie and Dorothy.

Don is survived by his two sons, Gene (Yuko) Worke of Albert Lea and Kevin (Cheryl) Worke of Albert Lea; grandchildren Paula (Tony) Wire of Glenville, Eugene (Laila) Worke of Simi Valley, California, and Eric (Laura) Worke of Albert Lea; great-grandchildren Keiffer, Kallee, Ryder, Kingston, Rueger and Lexi; a great-great-grandson, Oliver; siblings Virgil Worke of Clarks Grove and Beverly Standke of Owatonna; as well as many other loving relatives and friends.

Blessed be his memory.
