1 cited for violation

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies cited Ta-Marra Sierra Ne-Sh Shorter, 25, for possessing a small amount of marijuana and having no proof of insurance after a careless driving complaint was made at 9:46 p.m. Thursday on Interstate 35, two miles south of the Geneva exit.

Thefts reported

A counterfeit $100 bill was reported at 2:27 p.m. Thursday at United Employees Credit Union, 430 Bridge Ave. A suspect was identified.

2 arrested on warrants

Deputies arrested Karen Marie Decker, 55, on a local warrant at 10:24 p.m. Thursday at 4 First St. in Twin Lakes.

Deputies arrested Dylan Ray Watson, 24, on a Steele County warrant at 11:01 p.m. Thursday at 318 Euclid St. in Alden.

Child abuse/neglect reported

Reports of child abuse/neglect were filed at 7:47 a.m., 7:48 a.m. and 8:41 a.m. Thursday in Freeborn County.
