2. Toy show

For the 28th time, the Tiger City farm, toy, truck and collectibles show is on. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Northbridge Mall, attendees can peruse dolls, cards, Star Wars comics, trains, lunchboxes, antique toys, scale tractors and more.

3. Community benefit

The Eagles Club is hosting a fundraiser for the DeSart family following an October fire at their home on East Fifth Street. From 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday, there will be burger baskets, a live and silent auction, bake sale, triathlon and pool, darts and bean bag tournaments. There will also be live music.

4. Valentine’s Day party

Fully Rely on God is already feeling the love this weekend with a Valentine’s Day party. The Central Freeborn Lutheran Fellowship Hall will have several activities throughout the night. The party starts with pizza at 6 p.m. Saturday and continues with Norwegian Bingo, ice cream sundaes, signing valentines for shut-ins and a drawing for door prizes.

5. Rock on Ice

After once was too cold and once was too hot, Rock on Ice is taking a page out of Baby Bear’s book: It has rescheduled in hopes Saturday will be just right. From 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Rock on Ice will have live music, skating and hot chocolate at Hayek Park.
