AL boys’ cruise past Austin, 8-2

The Albert Lea boys’ hockey team dominated Austin en route to a 8-2 win Saturday night.
Senior Bergan Lundak scored an astounding four goals for the Tigers. Also scoring goals for the Tigers were seniors Michael Savelkoul, Alex Ulve, Alex Goodmanson and Noah Karge.
Seven of the Tigers’ eight goals came off assists. Savelkoul recorded three assists; and Lundak, Ulve, Goodmanson, Logan Stadheim, Cole Wentzel and Danny Chalmers all finished with one.
Albert Lea climbs to 10-5-1 this season and will be back on the ice Tuesday when the team travels to Red Wing.
