Thefts, damage reported
About 20 Apple watches and two laptops were reported stolen at 6:35 p.m. Monday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave. The theft was valued at $8,000.
Theft by checks in the amount of $152.15, $147.20 and $95.19 were reported at 8:33 p.m., 8:35 p.m. and 8:38 p.m. Tuesday at Shopko, 2610 Bridge Ave.
Someone reported sending three money orders, totaling about $3,000, that were not received at 2:33 p.m. Monday at 141 S. Newton Ave.
Jewelry was reported missing from a resident at 4:45 p.m. Monday at 1761 Eagle View Circle.
A plate was reported stolen off a trailer at 4:46 p.m. Monday at 619 Minnesota Ave.
A water leak was reportedly caused by a pipe that was kicked off inside a building at 4:22 p.m. Tuesday at Albert Lea Art Center, 224 S. Broadway Ave.
Theft by fraud regarding charges on a phone bill was reported at 4:58 p.m. Tuesday at 818 E. Hawthorne St.
