Kevin passed away in his home after a hard-fought battle with cancer on Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, at the age of 55. He was surrounded by his family.

Kevin was born June 26, 1962, to James and Shirley Paulson in Albert Lea. He grew up in Clarks Grove and graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1980.

On Feb. 7, 1987, he married the love of his life, Joleen Clark, at St. Mary’s Church in Maple Island.

Kevin started operating heavy farm equipment at an early age, and out of this work grew Kevin’s passion for operating semi-trucks. This led Kevin to his trucking company, Triple M Transport, which he ran for 25 years out of his home office.

Kevin loved to travel and, through his motorcycle trips with his wife and friends, he had seen much of the U.S. His passion for adventure and travel also led him to parts of Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.

When Kevin wasn’t traveling or working he enjoyed spending time with his family, and working with his hands on a wide variety of projects with other friends or family.

Kevin is preceded in death by his father, James Paulson; in-laws Cleo and Muriel; and grandparents Louie and Ann Zak, and Mable and Ivan Paulson.

Kevin is survived by his wife of 30 years, Joleen; daughter, Alyssa; sons T.J. (Nicki) and Clark (Heather); grandson, Charles; mother, Shirley Paulson; brothers Kenny, Keith (Heather) and Kirk (Simon); sister, Kara (Scott); brother-in-law, Mark (Stacie); sister-in-law, Jan (Jack); nieces and nephews; and many other important family and friends.
