Jordan Buendorf, certified nurse practitioner, recently joined the family medicine department at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea.

“Working in family medicine gives me the opportunity to see a variety of patients and form relationships with patients over time,” Buendorf said. “I look forward to helping patients in the Albert Lea community stay physically and emotionally healthy throughout their lives.”

Buendorf earned her family nurse practitioner degree from Allen College in Waterloo, Iowa. She is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Her professional interests include health promotion through the lifespan, child and adolescent health and enhancing quality of life.      

A resident of Alden, Buendorf said she is excited to continue her career in an area where people are invested in the health and wellbeing of their community.

Buendorf joined the Albert Lea practice in November.
