Update on Albert Lea couple injured in house fire

David Richards is still in critical condition after he was injured in a fire Friday morning, according to a representative from Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. The representative said she had no information on Joyce Richards’ condition.

Police cited Juan Francis Gallegos Padilla, 37, of Albert Lea for a domestic abuse no-contact order violation at 8:38 p.m. Friday at 2329 Clayton Ave. Gallegos Padilla was held on an apprehension and detention order.

1 arrested after vehicle  reported stolen

Police arrested Shawn Michael Miller, 30, of Albert Lea after a stolen vehicle was reported at 4:56 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Bridge Avenue and East Fountain Street.

4 arrested on warrants

Police arrested Oscar Paul Delossantos Jr., 22, on a Washington County warrant at 3:47 p.m. Thursday at 128 Garfield Ave.

Police arrested Gilberto Sanchez Jr., 45, on an arrest warrant at 1:39 a.m. Friday at 926 Jefferson Ave.

Police arrested Adrian Eugene King on warrants at 6:53 p.m. Friday at 2011 E. Main St.

Police arrested Nyayul David Gash, 21, of Austin on a Mower County warrant at 2:13 a.m. Sunday at 134 W. William St.

Items stolen, damaged

A coat and bookbag were reported stolen at 4:03 p.m. Thursday at Southwest Middle School, 1601 W. Main St. The bookbag was found.

A pit bike was reported taken at 6:53 p.m. Thursday at 1009 Columbus Ave.

An approximately $450 forged check was reported at 10:54 a.m. Friday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.

Theft by fraud referencing a bank account was reported at 11:35 a.m. Friday at 2414 Larson Ave.

An enclosed trailer was reported broken into and a Bell helmet and Impact head and neck restraints, along with a tire siper, were reported stolen at 7:55 p.m. Friday at 721 W. Clark St.

Nike size 11 shoes were reported stolen at 12:13 p.m. Saturday at 208 S. Broadway Ave.

A mailbox was reported hit at 11:52 a.m. Friday at 61872 Freeborn County Road 46, outside Alden.

A vehicle theft report was filed at 2:52 p.m. Friday in the Albert Lea area.

A home was reported broken into with items missing at 2 a.m. Saturday at 103 W. Main St., Clarks Grove.

Sex crime with a child victim reported

A sex crime with a child victim was reported at 2:33 p.m. Friday.
