In preparation for Dr. Seuss’s birthday and I Love To Read Month, all Halverson Elementary School students have been working on art projects inspired by Dr. Seuss. The projects help them learn the standards of recognizing four basic shapes (circle, square, triangle and rectangle); and using the elements of visual art, including line, shape, color, texture and space.
