Madrigal was driving a light blue 2005 Dodge Caravan north on Freeborn County Road 18, approaching the T-bone intersection at Freeborn County Road 5 when the vehicle drove through the intersection, driving up a steep field driveway incline before crashing north of the intersection, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The vehicle Madrigal drove was found in a field east of the residence.

There were no other occupants in the vehicle, and the surrounding area was reportedly checked on foot and with a drone.

The crash is still under investigation, and more information is expected to be released at a later time.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Minnesota State Patrol, Gold Cross Ambulance and Glenville Fire Department.
