Loren James Rychman, “Jimmy” was born April 22, 1926, at Swedish Hospital in Minneapolis to Joe and Luddie Rychman.

He graduated from the University of Minnesota with Bachelor of Science degrees in forestry and agronomy.

In 1954 he married his wife, Ellen, in St. Paul.

He worked for Bonewitz Lab until he retired.

He so enjoyed his Hayward, Wisconsin, cabin and tree farm, painting, wildlife and landscapes, gardening, fires in the fireplace and feeding the birds.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Miles; wife and infant son.   

He is survived by his children Cindy (Charlie Sawyer), Lynn (Tim Smith) and David (Tammy); grandchildren Steve Sawyer and Emily Vandersommen (Brian); and great-grandchildren William, Wesley and Lynnea.
