Memorial services for Lucille M. Andersen, 95, of Albert Lea will be at 11 a.m. Feb. 24 at Hayward Lutheran Church. The Rev. Joshua Enderson will officiate. Lucille died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, at St. John’s Lutheran Community.

Lucille Marie Andersen was born Sept. 6, 1922, in Freeborn County, the daughter of Christ and Evaline (Fischer) Schroeder. She grew up near Bear Lake, attending District 42 School.

On Dec. 23, 1940, Lucille was united in marriage to Bernhardt Andersen in Northwood.

She was a member of Hayward Lutheran Church and active in Naomi Circle. Lucille enjoyed baking, gardening, reading, word games and coffee with friends and family. She cherished her time living at Senior Court and made many friends there.

Lucille is survived by her children Dale and wife, Inez Andersen, Keith and wife, Mary Andersen, Lana Andersen, JoAnn Ress, Bonnie and husband, Bob Felt, Wanda and husband, Randy Hartson, and Julie and husband, Randy Sorensen; 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Bernhardt; parents Christ and Evaline; two sisters and one brother.
