Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea welcomes new provider

Certified nurse practitioner Susan Andersen recently joined the Urgent Care and Express Care teams at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea, according to a press release.

Andersen received her family nurse practitioner degree from Walden University in Minneapolis. She is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Andersen most recently worked as a nurse in the Progressive Care Unit at Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont.

“I am excited to serve the community of Albert Lea in both the Urgent Care and Express Care settings,” Andersen said. “I enjoy the busy flow of that environment and the opportunity to help new patients daily.”

Andersen joined Albert Lea Urgent Care and Express Care in February. Located on the fourth floor of the clinic, Urgent Care is open 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. seven days a week and holidays. Express Care is at 2708 Bridge Ave., within the Albert Lea Hy-Vee. Express Care hours are 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekends.
